BrightSpyre, USAID Pakistan (Jobs) and Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Sukkur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Saturday 12th September 2009 to work together for the placement of approximately 100,000 Pakistanis on highly skilled jobs nationwide.

Speaking on this occasion Mr. Fasial Chohan, Co Founder BrightSpyre, expressed his pleasure and said, “It is a great new step for job seekers not only in urban centers but also smaller towns in locating jobs throughout Pakistan.” This Agreement is significant step forward for promoting talent with good technical skills and finding them great new avenues to locate jobs.

This MOU is first of its kind that will bring a revolution in Pakistani Industry and will also help the non technical Pakistanis especially youth and a woman to acquire the technical skills and find the opportunities on a single platform that is BrightSpyre.

In the words of Ms. Amy Raam, Chief of Party , USAID Pakistan (Jobs), “In partnership with BrightSpyre – the leading job portal for the corporate sector; and IBA, Sukkur – one of the best Information Technology Institutes in the country, USAID Pakistan (Jobs) will train and counsel students to get preeminent jobs in line with their interest and caliber.”

The memorandum of understanding signed set the bases for the needed long term cooperation and coordination between the Educational Institutes and the Job Market. BrightSpyre will bridge this gap in collaboration with IBA Sukkur and USAID Pakistan (Jobs).

This is a five-year project funded by (USAID) and implemented by consortium of private sector non-government and technical partner organizations led by Care International in collaboration with the Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Industries, Production and Special Initiatives.
