OGDCL is one of the largest corporate employer in Pakistan. The company employs 9,376 employees (as of Dec, 2015). OGDCL  has opened OGDCL 2017 internship program – offering one year internship opportunities to fresh graduates to kick start their careers – especially oil & gas industry. As one of the largest oil & gas exploration company in Pakistan, the internship program provide opportunities to work in the head-office and wide network of OGDCL facilities spread around the country.

Geophysicists, Geologists, Data Acquisition Engineers, Wire Line Logging Engineers and Mud Logging Engineers go through extensive training program at OGTI ( Oil & Gas Training Institute ) – established in 1979 is equipped with well established laboratories and other complimentary material – making it the primary source of training its employees and for other companies in oil & gas industry .

This training program is a delicate mix of classroom and on-job training which included course work and on-job attachments to provide practical exposure to the trainees.

The duration of the internship is one year and internship is open for
1) Engineering Degrees in Petroleum, Chemical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical & Mechatronics, Computer/Software/IT
2) M.Sc / BS in Geological Engineering / Geology / Geophysics
3) MBA / BBA(Hons.) in HR, Finance / Marketing / SCM
4) ICMA / ACCA / M.Com

Criteria:

  • Age should be 30 years or less on 10th April, 2017.
  • CGPA= 2.50 ( in final degree as specified above).
  • First Division (60% & above) where CGPA is not applicable.
