This year students from leading institutes were involved in carrying out this project as they contacted more than 200 CEO’s of top level companies from all over Pakistan. BrightSpyre was drawn in coordination with Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, Iqra University Karachi, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) and University of Management & Technology Lahore. Lahore Chamber of Commerce (LCCI) was also involved in helping students in carrying out EOS 2008. During the project, BrightSpyre has also given the trainings and guidelines to students about the importance of surveys and strategies of communicating with employers.
Aim of this project was to provide university students an opportunity and exposure to interact with the industry and to groom their skills before they enter into the job market. This survey also provided them learning opportunity about the overall process of executive opinion survey with the importance and benefits of such activity. During the certificates distribution ceremony organized by CSF, “Dr. Aliya Khan, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Economics, Quaid-e-Azam University highly appreciated the contribution of BrightSpyre & CSF in conducting a successful exercise which results in helping students to get awareness about the industry as our university feels very proud to have been part of such a prestigious exercise” – BrightSpyre has always contributed in bridging the gap between academia & industry; coordination in World Economic Forum project was not the only effort but BrightSpyre has also introduced the concept of university specific job boards for the very first time in Pakistan.
