Human resource development by improving the quality of education and skills necessary to meet the demands of the job-market is equally important as the investment into the infrastructure related projects.
In Pakistan, 50 million children go to school each day with a promise of good work future for them. 1.6 million people enter into the employment market that are looking for their first job. To cater to this demand, a steady growth in the economy is needed along with the up-skilling the workforce.
The common statement about CPEC is that CPEC with an investment of more than $59 billion; is about building roads and rail infrastructure, energy generation, development of Gwadar and development of SEZ. Infrastructure projects are important to link the people and create new opportunities for trade and ease of movement. Energy projects are important in supporting all other sectors of the economy that requires energy to create, deliver products and services.

I need a job in civil Construction plzz help
A good step and keep it up. There is too much unemployment in Pakistan esp. on technical side (engineers). The blog says 52000 direct jobs were created but we don’t know how these all things are going and people making figures. Being Civil Engineers we were hoping that we will get jobs in CPEC projects but since my graduation in 2016, I never heard of any relayed jobs in CPEC . I think these jobs are only of laborers and the technical and good jobs are all specificied for chinese.
